Posts: 410 | lightroom 2.3 question... Am currently using Lightroom 2.3. The photo's I take are in RAW (DNG) format. I import the photo's into Lightroom to review them and delete those that I don't want. Although I "delete them from disk", they don't seem to be deleted from the main file that they are being imported from. Am I doing something wrong (as I'm hoping to permanently delete them from my drive. Suggestions are appreciated. thx in advance... |

| Site Supporter | I'm going to guess that you chose the "Copy Photos To A New Location And Add To Catalog" in the Import dialog. If you did the original imports won't be deleted from the disk, only the copies would be deleted. If you have chosen the "Move Photos To A New Location And Add To Catalog" the originals should have been deleted. |
