ACDSee 10 question

Hi guys,
just a quick question.
For a long time I have been using ACDSee 5 as my main browser. But comparing it's display to what I see in CS3/LR2/PPB the colours are really washed out. So I upgraded to v 10.0.219 in hope it'll improve but to no avail.
Where can I set colour managment in ACDSee??
edit: for some very strange reason this is only affecting shots from K10D!!!
shots from K100D appear the same in every browser I use but K10D shots are displayed differently in PPB (I have colour management set to "normal display") and ACDSee
edit2: after some digging in I found out that affected images don't have colour space information enceded in EXIF. Any idea why it wouldn't be there?

Thank you

Peter
