Great picture, I really like the canvas effect. I have used a place called canvas on demand several times. Photos on Canvas Prints | Photo to Canvas | Printing on Canvas, seemed like reasonable prices, great to work with, and they run sales quite often. If you do a google search on them, I think you can find on line coupons.

Hey all,

I have been in the large format printing industry for close to 20 yrs. We ask for your files preferably in TIF format and 200 dpi at the final print size (100%). When we scan paintings for giclee printing (fancy name for canvas printing), we scan usually 400 dpi and res down to 200 dpi for the print.

JPG files are ok, but TIF are better because there is no compression unless you use LZW compression when you save out.

The company I work for charges around $12.00 sqft.

Hope that helps

That's very nice! Love the size and the image!
I'm not really surprised, as I've done 20x30 prints from my K100DS 6 Mp Jpgs like this yellow race car.

hmm how would that car look on canvas?............

Thanks,

IMHO this is what photography is about, make 'em big and hang 'em on the wall.
