Pet Eyes

Is there a thread on how to fix pet eyes or does anyone have a good tutorial?

I've searched the internet, but somehow when I try I always get these fake looking eyes. I have Photoshop E7, but can always download another software if needed.

The best fix, unfortunately, is to not use flash, shoot in good light so flash isn't needed, or to use a fairly broad light.
This precludes flash on camera pictures in dark living rooms.
Fixing eyes in post is not very easy, best to not have to do it in the first place.

Well Said, wheatfield! But, when I must use flash, I now use a lumiquest pro system. I really like it. Doesn't produce the red-eye or dead-eye effect because it sends 80% of the light to the ceilling with 20% hitting the subject to flush out shadows. If you don't have a ceiling or a really high one, there is a white piece that you insert to substitute as a ceiling. Using a softbox over your flash will also help. Lumiquest also sells those. I've tried the homemade method (which looked horrible and lacked quality of bought versions)and the Gary Fong which I wasn't all that crazy about (cuts light too much and falls off all the time).

Such a pretty baby!! I love Rotties!! We had one, but had to put him down after an unfortunately accident. I miss him dearly! Max was huge, weighing in at 185lbs.

That picture of the Bug was taken something like a year and a half ago. I think he weighed about 95 pounds and stood just over 26".
He's just past 3 now, I'm pretty sure he has his full height at slightly less than 27", but he's still a very slim ~107 pounds.

What??? No Dobies??? Heres one for you ;-) I try not to use any kind of flash when shooting (photographing, not bang bang ;-) ) my pets.
