K20D and Lightroom Color Settings

For those of you using Lightroom and/or Adobe Camera Raw with your K20D, what color calibration settings have you had success with?

There used to be LR color settings posted on this forum for K10D back in the day that produced a more "Pentax" or "Silkypix" look (ie contrasty, deeper reds). I like that look so hopefully it can be replicated for K20D in LR ...

I've been trying to stick with Silkypix but I find it too slow and cumbersome. It's hard to work with on thousands of images. Maybe SP4 will be a big improvement in terms of UI and batch processing, but I'm not holding my breath.

I really need to reduce my workflow a few steps. I don't want to become a JPEG shooter, but I just don't have lots of time for post-processing. I'd like to do all the work quickly in Lightroom (RAW adjustments in LR > LR JPEG export) as opposed to my current workflow (RAW adjustments in SP > SP TIFF export > Work in PS for noise/sharpening/curves/etc > PS JPEG export).

I use Camera Standard, and to get contrast more like what you get SOOC, I usually have success pushing fill light and blacks a bit to taste.

You don't have preset values to start with and just play with the sliders for each shot?

I use camera pre-sets and change to taste in processing if even neccesary. I like the results of my K-20d.

I don't use any camera specific presets, just import the raw files as is PP them in LR and in PS CS4 if required. I don;t convert them to tiff's until I want to burnm them on a dvd for printing. or save them via PS as jpegs for email or web use. Very happy with the results I am getting.

You might want to try the new Step-By-Step Preset Process:
