Losing the complete image

Using the K20d in IR mode and had a few images done but when transferring to LR2.3 and PS CS2 the image especially in LR went from the IR look to a normal colour version. So my question is where did it go

cheers

Nothing lost :-)

As K20D makes so-called IR only on jpeg conversion You had 2 files: one RAW (which of course is RAW- no IR gimmick here) and another JPEG. You must check Your LR settings- Treat JPEG files next to raw files as separate photos may be the magic one under import settings.
Best and happy shooting, JR

well, you can always pop the card back into the camera and convert it to jpeg in-camera so you extract the simulated IR image out.

(if you need a solution other than running it through the Pentax Photo Laboratory)
