Datacolor response

Does anyone know where the serial # for Spyder3Pro is? The website says on the cd sleeve. The sleeve on my copy is black; I see no other numbers. I made an inquiry ticket with Datacolor, but have not heard back.R

Should be a label on that black CD envelope with the serial number on it. I just had to go through the activation thing myself a week ago when it convinced me to upgrade to version 3.11 of the software.

No label, other than on the package. I have tried all combinations of those to no avail. Still no response. There is no telephone number either.

If you're trying to upgrade to the latest release of the SW, they have changed the number schemes from a serial number to a license key. When I upgraded it recognized my original number, provided me with the new number (which I saved) and it loaded w/o issue.

If you purchased the product and can not install it due to the lack of a SN, then return it for one that has the SN label on the installation disk.

It's all good

I received an e-mail apology (vacation understaffing like at my office) with a 'new personal serial #. Worked like a charm and now I have the License Code number and a beautifully calibrated laptop. Thanks all.

Well that's good news indeed. I certainly like seeing happy endings to customer service sagas - especially when it concerns vendors I use.
