Split Toning presets for Lightroom

I am currently taking a digital photography class at a local community college. Our most recent class discussed the use of Split Toning for B&W conversion. The link below describes some Split Toning presets for Lightroom. Below are two images, one is a straight B&W conversion and the second uses the "Lenswork Warm" preset described in the attached .pdf file. The change in color is very subtle, but I think the change warms the image and makes it more appealing.

I agree with you Frank, the second processed shot is more appealing.

Nice, it's got a warmer look so feels more natural.

Just started playing around with LR2 and your guide is a nice start to learning split tones.
