Can't seem to get RA3 to work..??

I have been reading and re-reading the RA3 manual, and I'm sure I've got everything hooked up right..
BUT, RA3 does not acknowledge my K20d, all the display and camera options are grayed out...

Yes, the K20 was turned on

When I go under the "VIEW" menu, the selection to choose a camera is also grayed out.

My Laptop is USB2 compliant. 3 connections. And the drivers did load the first time I hooked it up and turned my K20 on.

HELP !!!!
What Am I doing wrong?
The Camera is to PC mode in the menu

Ok, I know to how to use the camera via the computer/mouse....BUT..

How about being able to use the camera in my hand with the image appearing on the computer. (Off a Tripod). Is there a way to do this?

The only way to do it with RA3 is to have it connected via USB. I've heard that some folks are using the WiFi enabled SD cards so that as soon as the image is written to the card, the computer knows that it's there and can display a preview. I don't know if there's a way to view the new photo full screen with that method.

That I get...but camera controls are disabled

I have to use the mouse and RA3 dialog on the computer to take a photo Stupid -Pentax R/D
