Before this season, my club signed Zambian international Chris Katongo; who had just finished as the topscorer in the South African best division. He had gotten the nickname Tsunami, due to his speed, agility and good finishing in the box.

I had just gotten the K10 a few weeks ago, and wanted to try a field test, at a match. I used an 8 year old consumer zoom, (Tamron 28-300 Aspherical LD [IF] f/3.5-6.3), which has taken quite a beating in the time I’ve owned it. It has never been a special performer, but till I get my hands on the new DA* 60-250, it will have to do. (Or maybe someday the 200/2.8)

We have started the season poorly, so some of the players were selected to play for the youth team. Since Chris had been late to a training session, he had been relegated to play this match, instead of the evening match with the first team.
One of the upcoming players, is the young David Williams from Australia.

Here he is scoring on a header, the last goal in the match, for the final score in the 3-0 victory.

And being cheered by his teammates.

When we played Barcelona in the UEFA Cup, the Spanish papers were very impressed by the atmosphere; and named our stadium : El Inferno del North.
And it seems next generation is ready to take over.

Up until now, I've been using film, first digital experience with the K10. Have very little PP experience. So I'm practicing at getting better. Also trying to get used to the camera.
Thanks for looking
