It was a great day for playoff football in Eastern Pennsylvania, no?

The home team started off with a bang. Osagie Osunde was running the ball well.

The defense was stopping the visitor's passing game.

The band was raucous in the stands!

Uh-oh...a tying touchdown just before the half...(check out the guy on the sidelines!)

Was the band sensing something at the half?

And then...disaster!

Two fumbles, three interceptions, and two kickoffs run back for touchdowns cemented West Chester's loss. Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) came to West Chester and beat the home team 45-35. Too bad, I think our team was better - they just caught us on the right day! There is always next year...(to be continued then!)

The lens certainly is good - especially stopped down a little bit. And it is a lot of fun to do.

I had seen the review of this game on the Philly sports station thta covers the Flyers. Seemed like a really exciting game all the way. Great shots, and, I think your colors were better than the TV!

That are real nice photos, I don't understand the game but like the photos just th same, thanks for posting them.

It was mostly overcast (although the sun broke out very briefly) - it makes for very nice soft lighting but I needed to bump up the contrast. Luckily, that Tamron 300 is already pretty contrasty without any adjustments.

Thanks Heinrich. To be perfectly honest I enjoy the band about as much as the football. Their halftime show is amazing.
