I do not expect that we are geting a white Christmas this year, but we can say we got something white before Christmas started

Nice series of shots Walter. I especially like No 1, 4 and the last. All the frosted trees are amazing but especially those weeping willows. Nice mixture of colours in the last.

If I ever had to show someone how the effective use of colour in photographs can create a mood, then shots just like these are the examples I would use. Terrific work, Walter, those are among the best winter shots I've seen for a long time. That first one in particular is a real standout.

Surreal really ... I have only seen snow a few times in my life .... but shots like these are nice to see for a change ... casts a very different outlook on the landscape.

Wonderful work Walter - cool shots, no pun intended. I like the way the blue is so nice against what would otherwise be just plain white and grey.

The second one is quite nice - closeu-up? Care to share details of setup for that one.
