I've had a couple of pics waiting since late April. Is it normal for it to take that long? My first lot were done in a few days

The bottle was rejected. Not surprised. It's nice and I like it, but I'm biased. In reality I probably wouldn't vote for it either.

Many have seen my picture of the molting lizard, would it be one that you would accept or decline?

Or this one.

Don't spare feelings. I want truth. After all there is nothing gained but personal pride.

Frankly I'd enter both. I really don't see anything about either that I would change or could comment as being wrong with either. The only thing some may not like is these both don't follow the rule of 3rd's but for the lizard you can't really change the crop. If the picture holds up you might want to crop some of the top and left side of the butterfly shot. Get the subject out of the center and get rid of some of the highlights on the top edge.

Actually lookind at the lizard again you could probably do the same to get rid of some of the blank space. But only if the image has the resolution to keep the sharpness.

I don't like rules. I do see what you are saying. I think I may be able to get away with the lizard, but probably not the butterfly. I still have the original. Maybe tomorrow I'll play with the crop.

Thank Peter. I appreciate your advice.

I would crop some off the top and left side of the lizard pic. I don't see how anyone wouldn't vote for that one. The butterfly pic is a good one, but also a subject that's pretty common. The lizard in a very unusual pic which is why it caught my eye and technically it's perfect

I think this could be one of best work, I've only been taking pictures for about 2 months now.

Here is my Gallery

I was actually invited when they were in the beta of setting the gallery up. There was one day on Photographyvoice.com that every Photo of the Day winner was taken by a Pentax camera. It got Pentax's attention and they invited all the Pentax users to participate in the Beta. I don't participate there as much as I used to. Their selection process takes forever, and I think it a little biased to all pentax equipment.

My gallery is in the link in my signature.

I can't figure out how to get the link to my photos on Pentax Photo Gallery for some reason. I've tried to copy the link as I do all other links I embed but that one just doesn't seem to work. Is there a trick to it?

When you logon to the artist page (where you upload your photos) there's a link that points directly to your page. It should look something like this:
