I've submitted maybe about 15 of my best, yet none has been accepted... I won't stop submitting though... instead of thinking to myself, "I don't need it," It challenges me more to come up with better photos! And when (not if) I do get in eventually, be sure to hear me shout all about it!

I decided a couple weeks ago to submit a few shots and see what happens. As of now, I have 5 accepted and all are bird shots. Nothing else has made it in.

To date, none of my hockey images have been approved - what are they looking for in action anyway - however I did have a second butterfly shot approved; with another still "under review". Anyways, here's the one that did get in. Taken at the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory.

I got two more approved over the weekend. Another bird (that makes 6) and a daylily. There are still 4 that have been in "Ready for Review" for almost a week now.

I certainly cannot complain with that percentage of accepted images!

When I first submitted, it was trying to figure out what they were looking for when it was invite only. The irony is that almost every image I thought would make it did!! Only two that I thought would make it didn't = civil war reenactment images.

The last 2 of 3 submissions were approved - two hummingbird images...

(EDIT: oops, actually the last 3 of 4 images have been approved, so it's still holding at 75%... )
