Super Moon 5-05

FYI: Saturday evening the largest moon of the year will be on display. Here is a link for more info, we should get some great photos from PF members, looking forward to your threads.

EM, I just do that to hide my inadequacies of taking a decent moon photo. I will give it another try this evening when the Super Moon rises.

Unless we are very very lucky on the UK south coast, I think we will miss out again however fingers crossed.
So I will cheat a little in good Blue Peter style "this is what we made earlier".

Partial from last November and the horizon rising taken in February coincidently both taken on the 7th.

K10 and Sigma 150-500 both hand held due to tripod being found broken after being loaned out (well it was a cheap one).

Hey Bob, nice shot! Look at what you've started! I just looked up the best time to view the super moon... apparently 11:34 tonight, and with a clear sky predicted here I am going to drag Norman out to the lake. Thanks for sharing your creative rendition of the pre-super super moon
