Finally figuring out this lensbaby...

Here's a photo I'm pretty happy with! I used a Lensbaby 2.0 f2. It's my dog, Helix.

That's a beaut of a shot of a great subject... yep, it seems that's what those lenses are best at. (and that's what dogs are best at too )

Ditto what everyone else has said.. This is a wondeful shot!!! it softens it just enough to give it that "aww" factor... LOL..

Thanks! Did I also mention that the Lensbaby is my second lens for the K10D? I have a Sigma 17-70mm and no kit lenses (well, unless I borrow the 50-200mm from my Dad). The inexpensive price and the fun factor of the Lensbaby inspired me to ask for it for Christmas I'm pretty happy with it and I'm sure I'll post more pictures as I use it- it's really my "style" of photography. Since then I've purchased one other lens- an SMC-A 50mm f2 from Ebay for $35 that I'm having a lot of fun with and I can't wait for my extension tubes (yep, I jumped on the extension tube bandwagon...).

how do you do it?

Hi there,

I loved that shot of your dog there too. I recently acquired a lens baby for Christmas and am having some fun with it.

I was just wondering though, when you first turn on your K10D (I have one too) what focal length do you set it to when she Shake Reduction prompt comes up?

Maybe this information is well known, but I couldn't really see anything in my baby's packaging that suggested what it would be.

Thanks so much, hopefully you can help me out or steer me in the right direction.
