In the rain
Lens: DFA100WR Camera: Kr
Posted By: frankfanrui, 05-30-2012, 06:25 AM

To use a plastic bag to wrap the camera and let the front side of the lens exposed for shooting.
It's quite fun to shoot in the rain, you can find many things that never came to your life before....

Nice set, and I'm particularly impressed / taken with the third image.

I love the spiders but like Marc says the reflections in #3 are perfect.

Agree on the third one but I like the last one as well. Lovely sharp image.

thank you for the comment, it could be better given more time being invested to do the cropping, below one is edited by one of friends from the forum, made some cropping and increased contrast.

not convinced this is better as shifting the three droplets from the center line is counterproductive IMHO.

That cropped image is incredible! Although like MSL I would prefer that the branch in focus was just a little bit lower in the frame. But that's being a little picky I think. Those sharply focused flowers captured in the droplets, and the colors, are superb.

I like all of them and think the cropped image is superior to the original. I've been thinking a macro lens should be on my short list.

Thanks for sharing,

Marcus

Hi Jerry, thank you for the comment, and to me this is the first time I shot such scenes, it was quite nice feeling to have those beautiful things captured in camera.

Thank you Marcus, I do think DFA 100 WR is a nice one to have, it definitely worth it's price.
