Took a couple of test shots with the A*135mm today (finally?) as requested in a earlier thread.
It's a groovy lens, but the DOF at 1.8 is wafer thin!
I took these during my lunchbreak, so don't expect a high level of creativity as i was starving!

First one stopped down to f4.0 1/250-ish

I have to say this is one of the best lenses i've tried. Wouldn't say no to a DA version with SDM...

You just need some bucks SMC PENTAX-A* 135mm f1.8 LENS/K1000/LX/MX/USED/RARE/$1 - eBay (item 250209262899 end time Jan-30-08 18:01:19 PST)...or a bucket of bucks

I cant remember seeing any other pictures taken by this lens on this forum before. Nice to get to see some.

I have seen this lens for sale a couple of times, when a used camera store has it it tends to stay in stock because of the crazy price. I have seen it priced above both FA 80-200 and FA 85.
