I had already started another thread about my first pictures so forgive me for that. Here is a link to pictures I took today with my new K10D. I am very new to all of this and this is my fisrst DSLR or I should say camera. Anyway I have no formal experience and I have not a clue as to what the heck I am doing. All I can say is the lenses I used was a FA 50 f1.4 and a 30 something year old Vivatar 75-210 manual. With that said go easy on me LOL

Looks like a lot people were having a great time which you captured well. Personally i'm not a big fan of the 'portrait' view, but thats strictly an individual thing.
Photos were very sharp and colourful on my monitor.
IMHO I think amateur photography is very much about capturing what you see, making yourself happy with the results and enjoying what you do.
Cheers

Thanks Grant. I am a landscape type of dude myself however with these 2 lenses I find myself wanting to capture more in portrait. I do not know why. I hope that all changes. I am going to unload an FA50 this week and be on the hunt for a 10-20. We have the Holiday in Dixie comming up and the annual air show at Barksdale as well. I hope to capture some great pictures then and hope I have learned some before hand.
