Overheard while lining up the image.

"Now guys we gotta lighten the load to get it moved easier, so we gotta try and take the head off.

Sy and Arnie, you get up on top and take hold of a leg a each.

You guys beside me grab the head.

Ed you get up on the thorax and try to gnaw through the neck.

Everybody else just grab a hold of something and when I count to three all pull like crazy.

Sure this is the food catering expedition for these ants. So many legs in one photo is a little disturbing to a healthy mind here...

I noted f16 and 1/4 second for the EXIF. Were they stationary all these time? This is a puzzle to me...

Great shot by the way. Was that a pole they were all hopping on?

this guy didn't have a problem he just grabbed the head.
