Grasses of the field...

So many times I have walked through a field, taking in the largeness of it all and yet one time, stop, look down and see the detail.
Then began a facination with grasses.
Try it some time.
The variety will astound you.

I would have never known guessed that grass could have so much detail.
I can't wait until my Macro lens arrives

I am waiting for my macro lens to arrive too!

Clarence, this is a good shot showing the intricate details of the grass: layers of strings and colour.

Ken, I shot this with my P&S Optio 550, settings...as close as I could get.
