Life cycle

The tree peonies are out. Great huge glorious smelling blossoms. Went over to the Bronx Botanical Gardens and shot a whole bunch. I like these three because not only are they young, mature, old; but also portrait, close up, macro. All taken with the K10D and the Tamron 90mm F2.8 macro.

I like #3 the best however that bee brings something special to the second one as well

A great series, Buddy. Reminds me of "Fiddler on the Roof" and the tune, "Sunrise-Sunset".

Well done Salty nice capture of the wasp in #2 and the last one is just, well a great macro.

Stu: I think the third is my fave too, there is something bittersweet about old faded blossoms;
Jer: Didn't even think about that song but of course you are right. One of my fave musicals btw, Trane should have done that one, not "Sound of Music".
