Crabshell from Brazil

Crab decor I bought in Brazil more than 5 years ago... I moved last month and just finally cracked one of its leg...

Anyhow, I was playing with the 50mm 1.4 and took some pictures...

might wanted to have stopped down a bit on the first two photos to get a bit more DOF for its claws, but thin DOF is really fun
interesting crab, was it once a real crab?
