:shocking!: Medium format Pentax horribly misused!

I recently procured (got my filthy paws on) this here heavy piece of melted-down japanese Zero.

It happened while surfing along innocently on the E-bay.
Who would have thought this would lead to spending my hard-earned money on more Pentax-stash! (an amazing and disturbing experience indeed )

So I find myself with a package containing a item weighing in at 1760 grams.
Said item appeared to be the Arnold Schwarzenegger of cameras: the Pentax 67. No butterflies nor sunflowers included. (no working batteries either)

During the unpacking of this tripod-loving piece of equipment, a "horde" of coworkers stormed the scene and instantly demanded that their image should be fixed to 55mm x 70mm film. I agreed to this, on the condition that they had to come up with a theme.

Thus "The Band-Band" was born.

The Band-Band has yet to release their first album, but they are considered some of the up-and-coming stars of the local music community.

The Band-Band does in reality consist of four members, but the fourth (silent) member is a bit camera shy, so pictures taken of this person are scarce.

Prior to this picture-taking incident, a roll of Ilford Delta 400 "magically" disappeared from the freezer at work and was forcifully pushed to ISO800.

(no enlargers were harmed during this production)

nice shot. That is a serious bit of kit. But i wonder, did your subjects think you were shooting with a pretend camera? I like the contrast of ilford delta.

I wouldn't really know about that. The one on the left has a pretend bicycle though...

I really love that shot. I don't shoot film, but occasionally I run across shots like this that make me feel like I should.

More crazy-67-ness

Some unidentified delinquents equipped with spraycans have been cruising around the neighborhood lately in a silver-coloured vehicle.

Several walls have been sprayed, so I brought a camera to catch them redhanded. (The 67 was a natural choice due to its compact size and light build )

As you can see from the picture I must have just missed them, because their unidentified vehicle is left parked next to this wall.

Sadly my lunchbreak ended and I had to leave before they returned.

Love that first shot! Looks like a band album cover. The band of course is "The Hooligan Element".

Enjoy your new gear.

Thank you guys for complimenting my new acquisition!

I hope I managed to lure some of you back to "The Age of Film"

Fuji Reala 100 is now currently in my camera, so be prepared for some color very soon-ish! (Too bad i don't have any filters though.)
