Decent enough series of shots - its the thing about the Impreza though, brilliant car to drive but not likely to win any prizes in the looks department

I disagree, the second generation 'bug eye' is the best looking version to date, and with the full WRC spec body kit (partially designed by Prodrive) its the most aerodynamic of the bunch. A sick car all around though. are you an SWRT fan gadget guy?

its tough being an SWRT fan here in the states but my team flag waves proudly. Imprezas will always have a place in my heart as well as rally but I have moved on from owning or having a true interest in this Japanese beast of a car.

good to see some "bug eye" impreza photos. when they were around i thought they were ugly, but after they were gone, i realized that look had quite a "personality" to them. too bad the STi wasn't out in canada for those models.

does anyone in toronto have any special imported Imprezas like the 22B or the RB5, etc. ?

We gave some very fine special Imprezas in the club.

RHD Impreza straight from Japan.... can't get more JDM that that...

The blue one with the funky titanium wheels is a wide body GC8

Lots of swaps done using true JDM WRX / STi engines.

One of the things I do is manufacture Subaru Performance parts... (/// Welcome To Group A Performance ///) so I am very in touch with the Subaru community.

I have been part of the Toronto Subaru Club for over 5 years.

Pretty much eat, breath, sleep, Subaru.

Saddly we had to wait till 2002 to get the WRX here... and it wasn't even an STi, first STi here was the 04 and it wasn't all that great.

I had one of the first WRXs to be sold here in Canada.... modified it heavily and then got T-boned... written off.

My current one is pictured above (dark blue wagon with lots of carbon fibre)....

Those Titanium wheels are awesome ... love the effect in the dish of the rim.

I am with Kev on this one ... the MY99s out here were the best of the bunch really.
