phew.. never knew stitching could be eye-straining.
here is my very first attempt at panorama.
as always, C&C most welcome.

I think it looks great I love the color tone, the sky and the blurry reflection of the bridge that looks kind of unreal. I can´t tell you how well it´s stitched though as the resolution is too low. I see a slightly darker shade between the wires in the beginning of the bridge but have no idea if that has anything to do with the panorama work.

Fantastic shot, Raphael! An excellently made panoramic shot. The colours, exposure, perspective and depth are almost mind-boggling. You can even see the city in the distance.

A classic image well captured.. but panoramas need to be big. I hope you have one of those roll-feed printers and a new set of inks!

What software did you use? Geometrically, it looks fine, but as others have said, radiometrically it doesn't match up very well. Did you shoot in manual mode? For panoramic mosaics, you have to shoot all manual; manual shutter speed, manual aperture, manual ISO. Pretty good for a first attempt.

i just used CS3's photomerge tool. used AV mode and locked the exposure. i'll know better next time to shoot manual mode. thanks!

Great shot of the bridge. It looks like you caught some light shafts coming out of the sky over Alcatraz. Nice effect!
