Nice shots....as aways the the Dragonfly Master I wondering if you could you take a picture of how you set up for that type of shot to illustrate how you take your pictures. Do you use flash and a tripod? How close are you to the subjects? I have no clue how you do macro like that and I just trying to get some ideas how it is done....

That is a very nice series Chris, as nice as the dragonflies are I like the frog better.

Nice series Chris. I'm envious of your colorful dragonflies. The only varieties I've been able to find so far this year are combinations of black, white, and brown.

Thank you everyone! It's been a good year for bug taking and I can't wait to get out again soon and get some more little beasties.

I'll try and get a setup made and I'll make a reminder to write up a blog on what my actual technique is for shooting the little critters.

Here are a few more that I took and uploaded later that day.
