Yes, I named it the big mac! LOL!

I name all my gear! =)

Gonna take some getting use too! LOL! It was cloudy today, so it took some time to focus, but overall, I think they are ok! =)

Now if I can just get over the fact that I blew THAT much money on ME!!! OMG! I just may need to return them! LOL!

*Breath, BREATH!*

CC please!

My grandfather also called them "snake doctors". I suspect it was a Southeastern U.S. regionalism that died out with his generation. I know the term; but don't use it myself. Heck, I don't have a chance. I only get to call them "tombo" (Japanese for "dragonfly") if I want anybody to know what I'm talking about.

Here's one I took with a Super Takumar 200/4 the other day:

Seeing the ones posted in this thread have given me a severe case of macro lens envy!

CArie,

Ist of all, amazing images!

Have u taken any portraits from the Big Mac?

I want to know its usability as a substitute of 135mm portrait telephoto on the film. However, some say that 100mm (150mm on film slr) is too long for portraits..I would like to see some portraits from it..

Also, If u have a 2x TC, will u please use it on the big mac and show the results without much post processing??

Thanks,

Hrishi

Oh man.... beautiful shots! As for naming your gear, the names make perfect sense to me. Then again... I used to have a 6' tall string bass named "Elizabeth"....

My mother enjoyed telling her friends I was downstairs in my bedroom playing with Elizabeth. So... I guess I come by my weird sense of humour honestly....
