took this one today at the central florida zoo... i actually took a number of shots, but this is the one where the fence is least noticeable, or not noticeable at all? unfortunately most of the animals at cfl zoo are behind cages or fences, but if the distances are right between you, the fence, and the animal, the fence can disappear with the right focal length. that still amazes me. oh, and this is 300mm (450) at 1/40 sec. three cheers for SR!

That is nice and clear. Great eye contact. Like it.

Awesome shot. About the only critique I can offer is maybe shaving a bit of the extra space off the right side. And as Eddie said, great eye contact!

thanks. i would shave some off the right, but i have this thing about keeping images in a standard 4x6 format. i should probably get over that. there's no rule about ratios for photos, and it's quite limiting trying to make everything fit the same dimensions. still, for some reason i have trouble getting away from it. kind of silly really.

Me too! I try to keep the 3:2 ratio, as does someone else here, Mo is it?

Seriously thinking about buying this lens too, this is a good advert for it.

Very very nice. No sign of the fence at all.
