My photography has mainly revolves around flash & close-up/portraits. To improve myself, I'm starting to go into wider and natural light photography. These are what i managed to get today. Think i didn't do well^^;

You didn't do too bad IMHO. In fact, I think #3 is excellent. The foreground cat is very sharp and the out of focus cat behind has that interesting rim lighting around it - very cool image, and very good exposure on all of them.

On many of the other shots, I don't really care for the composition, with a lot of empty space around the subject, but that space is not really used to convey anything to me. For instance, I'd like #1 more if you cropped off the top 2/3 of the frame. Consider using the "landscape" / horizontal orientation of the camera so you don't have all that empty space above and below your subject (unless that's what you want - in which case please ignore me!)

It's interesting how much variety we have on the board. You could hand me a great flash set up and I'd sort of look at it funny and ask if I could just have a faster lens or a tripod. I really need to learn about flash someday. Maybe later .

Thx for the comments. The problem with sticking with 1 style of photography for too long, it takes sometime to adjust to a whole new style. Most photographer tends to stay in their comfort zone. I'm only in photography for abt 2 years, and want to break my comfort zone while I still can^^;

Since I'm no talent in photography, all I can do is conditioned my eyes to see in a wider view and using natural lighting. Hope I'll post better works in a week or so
