Thx for you kind words. I can't give u my talent (don't think I have much), but if you are ever in Singapore, we can do some macros together. I'd been doing this with other local Pentax users and their macro did improved^^

Jimbo, I'd improved myself one step at a time. I started with prosumer + Raynox DCR-250 back in Sept 06. Because it is extreme macro, it focused me to learn focusing. Then in Apr 07 I upgraded to K10D and because of the weight, I'm forced to learn how to focus well with weight. I learnt 1 hand macro in the proccess.
Then sometime in Jun to Aug 07 I was working on my composition and how to PP better. After that I took a 6months break and did Pet photography where I learned more on lighting. When I got back to macro, I worked on getting better bokeh. Now I'm working to breakmy current style^^;
So what I'm saying is don't give up and try to go slowly. Look at ur shot and improved on area you aren't happy about^^ Sorry for being long winded^^;

Congratulations once more. Nice shots!
Thx^^ My macros tends to involved flash, unless they are insects like dragonfly. I using the low-noise ability of K20D to use high ISO to get the color bokeh (this part is natural light). Then use flash to bring out the details and color of the insects (this is flash). I'd yet master, but I'm working on getting a more balanced use of both natural light and flash.
