Nice series! Exactly how long were you stuck at the airport? - flight delay?

Thanks for sharing,

Thanks for the replies. I work about 3 miles from the airport, so I will stop on my way home to take pictures, when I have time. I take a bunch and wind up getting rid of most, but that is the beauty of digital.

Have a great one!

Nice shots! #7 of the 'flying bus' brings back some unhappy flying memories though.

I have heard some stories about the shorts aircraft(from mechanics). Is your story from the pilots seat or the passenger seat? The shorts aircraft are an odd looking bunch.

The one in the photo belongs to Sky Way airlines. I had never heard of them, so I looked them up on the internet, they were based in Wisconsin I think. Seems they ceased operations about 3 or 4 days before I took the picture. It makes you wonder if they called the pilots and told them leave the aircraft at RDU, and find their own way home.

Thanks for the comments

My experiences were from a passenger prospective. I don't think they use pilots, I think they were all old school bus drivers...

Cool shots - I particularly like the one of the American flight landing in the rain.
