Try living across the bay from a container terminal - you'll need ear-plugs for the noise and blinders for the lights.

Thank you, thank you, thank you...............

Thank you for your comments kind people. My back is still a problem but it was worth a little discomfort to be able to spend several hours shooting away happily. I'm glad that some of my shots have pleased you're eyes.

I really like #4 the expressions are great and the foreground leaves you wondering. Nice work.

"Mutated Gull Destroys Refineries - Gas Reaches New Highs" - Great shot.

I know SF is a big town and all, but I think I know that dancer - maybe.

Cool shots.

Similar to what I thought when I first saw the bird, Godzilla went through my head.

The ferrys are possibly the best way to see the SF waterfront. The last time I was there I rode BART to Oakland just to take the ferry back.

San Francisco is probably one of the greatest cities in the world for photographers and has given the world three things that will insure its place in history:
1) Ghiradelli chocolate
2) Anchor Steam Beer
3) The Grateful Dead

I really like the dancer also. It captures the sheer quirkiness of many city residents.
