I'm currently practising the use of available light, hope I didn't fare badly^^;

They are really vibrant and wonderful shots Zeek and no - I would not consider your efforts a failure at all. Your creativity really shows in the narrow DOF and your subject matter. Really nice shots mate.

Thx^^ I wanted to send #5 for PPG but decided not to, as I feel it aren't good enough^^; But on a sqaure crop, I'll get a smiley face^^

The guardian statue is typically the Japanese style. That one is probably the one that can hear sounds from miles away. I am a fan of these guardians and they are usually kept inside some sort of net or fence making photography difficult. You got it very clear.

The rest of the shots have the zen feel to them all. Great shots

I think you did a very good job with these. I like the narrow DOF in many of them. I also like 5 a lot. Very nicely shot.

One comment, I find the image data in the borders distracting and takes away from the image. They might look even better without that added.

Thanks^^ I'm really gald u feel zen, as that was what I was trying to get across. This temple is quite unique, it's built around Chinese meet Jap.
