two large panos from Lindau and Sienna

This holiday I remembered to make some panos.

The first one is from Lindau in Germany at the Bodensee with the DA35Macro:

and the second one from Sienna, 9 images with the DA12-24 in portrait mode at 24mm to get the tower in the image. A large meeting had just finished on the square in preparation for the horse races. There is a temporary sand track along the edge of the square. It is a pity I did not lower the camera when turning away from the tower but I think it is a nice image anyway...

I stitched them with Hugin.

Very nice panos. I especially like the first one, probably because I visited Lindau myself a year ago.

Yes, I think these panos are especially nice if you've been to those places. I've also been to the Swiss side of the lake (near St. Gallen) but the nice thing about the German side is that you can see your nice Swiss snowy mountains in the distance :-) (left of the lighthouse)

That's true, from the swiss side, there are no mountains to see on the german side. Here is a view of Lindau from the lake:
