Spetacular series.

The first shot has a great orientation. The bike was placed in the right spot to invoke the particular feel of the region.

That famous castle is definitely well captured with such a cool nice lighting.

The wall painting (I guess) is very unique and sentimental.

The lake and the streetscape are quite special revealing the difference of streets comparing to other places in the world.

Great post.

Great shots! I lived in Germany for 8 years and loved it. I see you were in Rothenburg ob der Tauber (hope I spelled that right). Lovely city.

Great series, the first shot makes good use of the blank part of the wall. The romantic road shot is very picturesque.
So did you get to drive the Nurburgring, how much do they charge these days?

Wonderful shots, brings back memories from my 4 years there in the '60's, while in the Air Force. Thanks for sharing.

You spelled it right. Yes, it is a beautiful town, for that matter every town along Romantic road.

So did you get to drive the Nurburgring, how much do they charge these days?
It's 21 euros on your own car & approx 350 Euros for two hours and 8000 Euro insurance excess on a rental car. I did not drive as the insurance was too much for a first time track experience and knowing the ring's notorious reputation. My confidence was battered even more when a m/cycle rider was killed hours before we entered the ring. So I paid 150 Euro for a taxi wherein an experienced track driver took us around the ring in a souped up v6 Alfa Romeo. It was millions time better than a roller coaster experience and he completed 20 km ring in 10 mins. Adult diapers highly recommended for first timers...

Danke everyone..

It's a beautiful country ... my Father's side of the family originated in Germany.
I travelled through Germany in 1988 with my parents then ... and it was awesome.

I'd love to get back there to visit again ... the historical towns are a sight to see.
I can't believe how awesome Neuchweinstein is at night lit up ... I only witnessed it during the day.
