Morning mist illustration

Visited Baxter State park and saw this scene at sunrise. Would love to get some comments on the PP I've done.

I'd say pen and ink, watercolor, with some charcoal touches. It works well.

Hi Ken, nice work. I might crop a little off the top just to get rid of that small portion of sky if it was me. The golden light on the water and then the mist is beautiful.
I can't make my mind up about the chair. If it was on the end of the jetty near the water it might tell a story but where it is near the tree, I'm not sure whether it works or not.
I would have loved to have been there, you live in a beautiful area.

As usual you are right about the sky, I'll work on that. here is another shot with the chair being more prominent. I've got about 3 others shot from different angles and can't make up my mind which works better.

Two nice images there, I like the PP treatment you've done. The two different shots also have a different feel to them, and I think you've chosen two borders that complement that.

Personally, I like the composition in the first one more, but I like the calm, peaceful mood the second one gives; although you've snipped the top off of the tree.
