Autumn in the Arctic

Autumn may be one the most colorful seasons in many places. However, in the arctic and sub-arctic regions the colours can be quite spectacular. With a bit of luck with the weather, the first bite of frost makes the ground, the bushes and the trees glow in all the colours of the spectrum.
Enclosed some pictures shot a couple of years ago in the far north of Finland, well above the Arctic Circle, on the second week of September.

Nice shots but I don't like the way you've framed them. The vertical one looks slanted to me or maybe just not centered.

You are right, it is not centered! Did a sloppy job putting it together yesterday. Need to fix it for later use.
Would hate to do the same with paper prints !

Very nice colors. Looking forward to them here also. The birches are already getting yellow.
