I really like the soft watercolored(?) effect and the overall composition. I'm not a fan of the "brush" in general, just not my taste. Photographically though, the only thing I might suggest is if you were to re-shoot that to have her slip the strap off her shoulder; it's a little distracting, even with those amazing eyes of hers.

Well I am going to have to post the original pic for you, lol. Then you will see why I did not ask her to move the strap. You see I was looking at this pic and just had to do this very tight crop which of course changed the entire pic.

Thats an intersting project Rosemary. Works for me!

I would prefer the first one by the slightest of margins. Should print up well.

Ahh okay, well forget I even said that.
That's one of the big advantages of having our darkrooms on our desktops. I've done that more than a few times with shots that the original composition just didn't work for whatever reason but a tight crop transformed it into a keeper.
So is the softness in the cropped version merely due to grain/noise? It works quite well here.

Rosemary, this is 2008, she could have dropped the strap for a second, straps slip all the time, men designed them that way.
