Yep... I forgot I'd taken these





I call this one "Beam me up!"




I don't do a lot of Macro (even being the proud owner of a Sigma 17-70 2.8) so any advice would be great

First ones a teeny wenny soft but the rest is outstanding and the last seems to me that you catched the hood in your shot( I've done that heaps of times)

Funny you mention that. I've noticed it a lot on my shots since I got the 17-70 but I don't use the hood. Here's the 1st frame I took of the 2ns shot posted



It only happens when I use the on camera flash or the flash on the hot show. I think I've moved more photos to the "bad shot" folder because of this than for any other reason and it's why I'm so hot to get the flash off the camera
