Including extensive hiking, Greenlandic sled dogs and mountain biking has all been part of a 9 day fairytale of an assignment I did this august.
I have first now gotten around to throw the photos online.
Now my other camera pulled most of the hard work but I did get the chance to air the DS and DA limiteds a couple of times.
I have posted a few samples from the DS below, but to see the more from the trip, the greenland section of my homepage or the recent favourites section are the place to go.
I Would not want to polute this forum with non pentax photos.
If I could only do assignments like these all the time, I would be a very happy man
Thanks for posting. That last one especially is indicative of the actual scale of the ice flows.
Thank you.
The last one is from the very edge of the glacier wall, where the moraine is created, which explains the almost black colour of the ice.

Well dave, these are luckily all pentax and actually I brought the pentax specifically for the part of the trip where these images are from. The bikeride we had to take to get there required an absolute minimum of gear especially the silt part of the ride got really exciting and I needed every bit of free movement. I could get. SO a DS and 3 pancakes in the top of a low profil backpack was a life saver.

As you say yourself, Nature are making my job a lot easier
Very appreciated. Marvels in nature and interesting landscapes such as I may never get to see with my own eyes but brought to use with your help.
There is much to see in these images and much to bring humility. Nice images.
