I like this image. Surreal-like arrangement of colours and elements- green, yellow, black and blue. The light must be very strong for you to have created a silhouette of the surfer. No matter, well done!

Wonderful!!!

I like the contrast and deepness of colours and the high contrast (silhouette) of a surfer and a movement. Wow!

thanks bud yep, the DeeVee might have moved away from the city, but the DeeVee hasnt moved away from the pentax, (ah dear, thats so horrendously lame)

thanks mate..you are correct about the light.. it was extremely bright and my intention was to create a silhouette..i was lucky this time around

A refreshing difference...

...to the usual surf pics one sees that visually focus on competition technique & riding dynamics.

Your pic here captures (to me) the spiritual experience that surfing is really more about.

The 1st pic works better than your 2nd imo. In it, you've captured a moment where the high contrast, the colour combination of blue, aquamarine & yellow of the board & transparency of the water all come together & in a complimentary composition. Nicely processed for the result too.

hey mate.. thanks alot for the comment.. you mention how it captures the spiritual experience? thats fantastic , because thats exactly what that shot is all about.. at one with the ocean.. just a plank of fibreglass seperating us. im stoked that you took the time to mention your thoughts,
