Morning walk w K10+K400
Created by axl, 11-17-2008, 12:50 PM axl is offline

This morning I decided to go for a walk to nearby Richmond park and catch up with some deer friends. It was also first time I coupled K10D with SMC 400 f5.6. Conditions were less then perfect as it was typicaly grey english autumn/winter mood. There was a decent sunrise but then clouds took over completely. So available light wasn't very good and once again I had to go up with ISO (managed to keep it under 250). Some shots came tad underexposed and tad flat, so further treatment was necessary. That quite enhanced the noise in pics but I think for up to 12x8 these should be OK. Anyway, I don't think I'll be printing them any time soon if ever. Enough of chit-chat, here are 4 best from this morning.
Thnax for looking, and any thoughts are welcome
Peter

You got some nice shots there Peter. The first one looks like some kind of collage. The second one is nice and sharp, the third one doesn't look too happy. Nice action in the fourth shot.

And here I am lucky to run across a squirel in our parks. The coats are nice and full, it must be cool there now? Good work Peter. I enjoyed them all.

These look great to me. However, I don't like the fact you allowed the first elk? to wear an MP3 player ;-)
