Playing with topaz adjust
Posted by vespa, 11-18-2008, 01:26 PM vespa is offline

Downloaded topaz adjust the other day, tried it out on a few pics and found it usefull in some cases. But i couldn't resist playing.......browsing my folders i came upon this shot taken with a cokin sunset filter in vain effort to inject some life into the sky.

Much twiddling of sliders drinking of tea and wondering what if i did that later....

Okay its no longer a photograph and i had no intention of doing this when i took the shot but i get this feeling it may end up on the wall.

You could probably use some blur to smooth the sky out a little.
It's a great picture you've come up with though, well done.

Or you can do a B&W coversion, leaving with the roughness in the sky to simulate film grain...

I like what you have done. I have become a recent fan of Topaz Adjust for alternative photos that I am not happy with. Topaz Adjust can really make it a whole new image.

Yours has a great look in my opinion! I would maybe slide the noise to at least 1.0 to help the sky if you have not already done so. Other than that I really like it and think it is a great use of a photo that otherwise would have been forgotten!
