#1 | | Winter is here ... 11-23-2008, 03:35 PM Hi all,
Not so colourfull images .... The snow has come and sea is freezing, but there is something what I like.
The field in sunset and some mist coming from river (and some colour )
... but the river is still free of ice.
Any comments? | | | | Views: 296 | |

JMR I agree with everything JMR has said. I also like the frame in the first shot.

No it isn't - I was down at the beach on the weekend and the weather is fine
Not much snow or ice around my part of globe - even mid winter at it's coldest - but I do love the snow and cold, great shots, really nice atmosphere and colour to them. |

JMR Thank you JMR for your comment!!
I agree that there is something what you can do to make them better, sure. In #2 and #3 I tried something different in PP ... and of course we all have different views. I also tend to watch the feeling and mood from the image, not so much about the technical part. Originally Posted by Damn Brit I agree with everything JMR has said. #12 | | Site Supporter | I like the drama of the second shot, but I think my fave is the third, there is a nice calmness about it, almost zen like.

#15 | | Loyal Member | Winter There Not Here! But for me that is only true for a moment. A shift in wind and I can be in snow. Wind shifts the other way and it is in the 60s! One of the charms of Bellingham. Currently 47/9!
Your pictures are full of the more poetic and evocative side of winter. The happy hands warming up after being out. the shouts over giggles while stomping off the snow. All after coming in from the weather; your images an after image filled with their own quiet deep beauty.
Frame in #1
Light in #2 |
