Out for a walk in the rain on Thanksgiving morning with my youngest son at the beach we ran across this pelican. It let me get very close. The first image is 115mm and the second 50mm. k20d, DA*50-135. I had to try out my only water resistant lens in the rain.

These are not the best exposures, but it was cool to get this close.

These exposures are fine, they clearly show how yucky the weather was... great shots

I like them both a lot! The first does not need too much warming! Maybe just a bit brightening and a tad more contrast?
