Daughter Portaits
Posted by spyglass, 12-02-2008, 02:34 AM spyglass is offline

A couple of shots that I posted on another forum I frequent (pentaxworld.com). My daughter let me get a couple of quick photos of her the other day (she was in a funny mood )
Do not get much chance to do portrait work and am always inspired by what I see others doing here on the site.

Thanks for looking,

Your daughter is beautiful. I too admire much of the portrait work I see on this forum and wish I could emulate it as well as you have here - great work!

Thanks everyone for all the kind words and encouragement. The best thing about a forum is the great influenced it can have on you to see and try new things. This site is full of creative people and covers such a wide range of styles. I never leave without feeling inspired or recharged.

Thanks again,

Love that second shot! Well done b/w conversion... simple, effective lighting... and a nice, friendly expression. Well done!

Congratulations on 2 wonderful portraits, either one could be framed and put on the wall easily.

She has such deep blue eyes. She's gonna be a heartbreaker.
