#1 Some light ...
12-29-2008, 04:55 PM
After a period of "grayness" we got few sunbeams ...
Once again I was with my dog having some exercise and there was some beams of ligth still in air.
When I got back home I had it to run back (only few hundred meters) to get the last bits of light ...
Happy New Year to all of you!!!

That's lovely light. Makes the grayness worth the wait. Beautiful.

First image is fantastic, embued with a golden light throughout. You just managed to keep the extraneous light out of the lens. Not always easy with zooms. The second is also nice, but the first is great.

Kurt,
You really did a wonderful job of capturing the warmth in that 1st one.

Thanks Jimbo! There was some PP, but not much and yes, I used a digital filter to enhance the effect.

Thank you for your comment! You are right. After a few dull and gray day, you do not need much light to get smile on your face

Thank you for your kind words! This was the only shot where the light was not too blown.
By the way, it was not a zoom, I used 100mm macro for that.

Thanks Ray for your comment! I also like the first one more. I was hoping that the temperature difference would have been bigger so that there would be some mist raising from the river. Maybe some other day.

Both are nice but the first one is something special. The light fills the image so much it is literally oozing out. Fantastic!

Agreed with previous comments. Kurt, that first image is really well captured. Wondeful lighting! Number two is quite peaceful/serene.
