Just wanted share with you some pics of my baby girl Jade that was born on January 1, 2009 @ 11:26am

Weighing in at 9lbs 14oz!

The doctor said I can enroll her in toddler school next week. Guess I have to return most of the new born diapers I bought from Walmart now.

Did I mention she has more hair than my father in-law?

She is already learning how to make faces :P Sorry took this one from the side of the baby crib through the plastic.

Anyways, just thought I would share some of my joy with you all and wish everyone a happy new year and all the best! :thumbup:

p.s. - sorry for the crappy P&S pics, I plan on taking better ones today with my SLR. Things were happening so fast yesterday during the operation that at the last minute I decided to just bring in my wife's Canon SD750 in my pocket.

You damn right I did, I was so tired this morning from being up for nearly 18 hours the day before and only sleeping 4 hours last night I still had to download the pics and put up some pics.

Thanks for all your replies guys. You bet my shutter count is going to go up. I just wasn't feeling confident enough to shoot with my K200d on game day and I had enough to worry about then potentially dropping one of my lenses or getting blood into the body

Download some more images off my wife's camera today.

me in the red shirt and some of my childhood friends that I have known for 20 years or 2/3 of my life that all cancelled their new year's plans to share this special moment in my life. Thanks to all of Jade's uncles. There are some more which haven't had the chance to visit yet but they will be coming by tomorrow.

My mom's first time holding her first grand daughter today.

My grandfather (89) and grandmother (81) were so happy to have seen Jade today and it even brought a tear to my eye because I am very close to my grandparents and for them to be able to experience this and meet their great-grand daughter is just amazing.

My poor wife was only 100lbs and 5' to start and she gained about 45lbs. I told her look at it this way, Jade is probably the easiest 10lbs she would lose anyways

Only 35lbs or a bit less to go back to normal.

Some new pics for today, man the things you have to do to keep yourself entertained at the hospital

I've had so many friends and family come and visit Jade in the past few days I had to make sure she remember which one is her daddy. I think she recognizes my voice because everyone someone is holding her and I am talking she is looking in the general direction I am in and I've tried moving around and she seems to look as well.
