Cherry blossoms in Portland, OR

Cherry blossoms are mostly in full force here in Portland. Took a
walk around the block with my K10d and new Sigma 17-70 after work a
couple of evenings ago.

Bart, thanks for sharing. Yes, they are everywhere around here now. I discovered two right out me back desk that my neighbors have. Those were the model shots for the earlier posts I did about playing with macro rings on the FA50 lens of mine. Your lens looks very nice.

It's nice to know that is another Pentaxian in the Portland area.

Thank you for sharing Bart

In AZ we have orange blossoms and the fragrance is wonderful.
Are the cherry blossoms fragrance nice as well?

Thanks Jeff. Last year I missed them--they come and go so quickly. The pink blossoms in my area are already waning. The white blossoms are on the rise now (these are what I have in my yard)

Thanks Stickman. We moved from Orange County California when I was a kid and I remember the frangrance of the orange trees. The frangrance isn't strong enough to fill the air, but if you smell the flower it smells just like maraschino cherries.

Thanks David!
